In order to keep order and discipline a Chain of Command is always necessary for military units. IDS prides itself on being a very well disciplined Clan. The Chain of Command is not meant to belittle or show dominance above anyone, rather it is meant to maintain order in the Clan. Although IDS has very strict guidelines when it comes to Ranking up, exceptions to the rules are possible. Nothing proves the worthiness of Ranking up more than Loyalty and Dignity.

Promotions to a new rank are granted by:

  • Time spent in the Clan
  • Number of total posts on the forums
  • Continuous forum activity
  • Participation in Clan events
  • Loyalty and Respect of the IDS Code of Conduct
  • Other contributions are taken in consideration
Note: Only one rank increase per month can be achieved unless an officer has recommended that a member skip a rank.

An officer is classed from being a rank of Captain above. All secondary Operational ranks are Officer Class also apart from GFX Team. There are a total of 16 ranks from Level-1 to the Council of IDS that can be earned by consistent fulfillment of the guidelines mentioned above. IDS may consider prior Leadership roles in other Clans as a way of receiving their Rank in IDS.

This Command Structure must be followed by all Members of the Clan, and under no circumstances be disobeyed or neglected. Failure to follow this structure will lead to immediate removal from the Clan. If you have any questions regarding issues, please contact any of the Staff Members.
